Our flight training programs are based on nearly 40 years of experience. We understand people and what is involved in teaching them how to become safe and confident aviators. Our instructors are carefully selected, highly motivated, carefully supervised and dedicated to your success.

     Our Private Pilot and Instrument Programs are approved by the FAA under FAR Part 141, This means our training and aircraft maintenance programs have been carefully reviewed by the FAA and that our flight instructors must receive additional training by the Chief  Flight Instructor. Student training records must be maintained and the FAA inspects the aircraft annually.

     We are an approved Cessna Pilot Center. Our fleet is comprised of  new Cessna aircraft, equipped with the latest state of the art equipment, including GPS, autopilot. When you train at AFI you will be ahead of the game and confident in your ability to operated the aircraft. We use the latest in Cessna Computer Based Instruction Programs (CBI).

     We are located at the Fullerton Airport and are licensed by the City of Fullerton. We meet or exceed their requirements of insurance. The Fullerton Airport has long been recognized as one of the best southern California airports for training, with no delays for traffic, and quick access to the flight training areas.

     We are approved to give all FAA written tests.

     Additionally, our programs are approved for financing by the Sallie Mae Corporation.
